WORKER DIES AFTER TRENCH ACCIDENT
A 24-year-old construction worker died after an accident in Purfleet on
Tuesday morning.
The man was working in an 8ft deep trench fitting pipe work in London Road
when a digger bucket fell on him at about 0900 BST.
MAN DIES AFTER DIGGER ACCIDENT
A 40-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield has died after being struck by an
industrial digger. The victim was airlifted to hospital after the accident
which happened while he was working at commercial premises in Water Orton,
Warwickshire. The man, who has not been named, is understood to have suffered
fatal head and chest injuries.
MAN CRUSHED IN WORKPLACE ACCIDENT
A man has suffered serious head, neck and spinal injuries after being crushed
in a workplace accident. The steel fabrication worker, aged in his 50s,
was carrying out maintenance on the steel bin of an excavator just before
3pm, when it fell on him.
STONY POINT
A 33-year-old worker died an hour after being struck by an excavator digging
outside a house on Captain Faldermeyer Court. He was hit by the excavator's
bucket and forced into the side of the house about 11 a.m
WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP
A man was killed late Wednesday when the excavator he was operating
overturned authorities said today. He was found dead in the cab of the excavator
about 11:30 p.m. Authorities found the excavator overturned on a hillside.
